It was fine before when you (Moggie) were the only one that could use sounds. Was actually quite funny when the sheep noises would start and people would be like "WTF?!" or “The Commander is Down!” when you died

The constant spam is quite annoying and the sounds quickly become repetitive. The swearing bothered me as well, not because I’m particularly offended by swear words but because prior to the sounds being added we would tell people off for swearing and these just send a mixed message. However I can see this has been rectified in the latest news post so that’s cool.

To be fair the ability to mute them using “!sounds” balances it out so I really don't mind if the stay, I’ll just have to have a key bound to "!sounds" ready to push at every map change

People always have the option to go !sounds so it shouldn't really be a big issue to anyone.

As always, judicious usage is the order of the day, and Team MX en masse wouldn't know judicious usage of the sounds if it noscoped us in the face from two feet

All 3 apply but i general switch them off as they are a pain during the game. maybe they can be made available during spawn for the winning team bomb defuser/hostage rescuer etc.

Looks like I can't vote for some reason, but having been on very briefly last night before issues with the steam update and Norton (again) took me off, they are the worst thing that has happened to the server, ever.

And I certainly heard plenty of swearing last night with the 'sick' sound.

YEh they where fun but when like every 1 is dead and the play dede or some other stuff u cant hear footsteps annoying .

Take the sounds of knowone can be trusted some dickheads just are like spamming them and its absolutely [censored] annoying just get rid of them plz!!!!

Maybe its best to get rid of swearing sounds:
sick, stfu, dont [censored],.... and leave the rest - put more funny sounds.
U can always turn them off so u have a choise

Don't like to complain because your server really is loads of fun but the sound plugins are a complate and utter pain in the arse.

Oh, and the constant swearing gets me nagged at by her indoors, which is just as annoying.

yep im not liking the sounds either anymore, when im playin on our server i want a nice chilled atmosphere to relax an shoot some n00bs but when i comeon we have about 20 ppl spammin the same old repetitive sounds..

either lower the sounds per person to 1 or get rid of them because its actually very irritating now that the sounds have passed their honeymoon peroid.

These sounds just don't suit the game. In Quake3 or whatever they're fine because you jump around like a tit with ridiculous rocket launchers and the like.

CSS is more tactical and interesting - you have to listen for footsteps, you don't want these blocking it out or distracting you.
