I currently have a 22in CRT and usually play at 1280x1024. Specs: E8200 @ 3.2Ghz 8800GT 1GB video ram 2 GB ram Vista 32. Cheers

I can do that with CSS and TF2 but I have found with L4D I have to set it down lower to get a decent frame rate, but my PC isn't as good as yours so you shouldn't have a problem. You will love the TFT wide screen fantastic for gaming. ![]()

I did recently strip it down and artic 5 the gpu, need to redo it as it needs new themal pads for the ram so i had to do a botch job of them. just think what you can do with all that extra desk space now! what one did you go for? i think a big ol monitor may be what i want for christmas.

Even l4d should be fine, its the first OB game to Fully support multicore CPU's, although its buggy as Hell just now and certain CPU's dont like it, like mine!! So i have to set mat_queue to 1 so im only using one core. This should be sorted soon and will get to use both cores to play L4D. Dunk - To be honest its a cheapo one, A optiquest Q2202W one, but at just over 100 quid I dont care, as you say I need the desk space cause a CRT 22" takes up a hell of a lot of room. It may be cheap but it has got decent customer reviews. It wont be ubber l33t for games but thats not what i really bought it for. [ Edited Fri Nov 14 08, 09:07AM ]
