ive been asking many a UKMD member on the noob heaven, even the main server and they arent too sure if this can be done.
I wana reset my rank purely coz i started playin this server when i started cs and now im a little better, its like wow loook at my rank lol its pretty shocking
i was just wondering if this can even be done? and itd be greatttlyy appreciated.
I don't think that is possible, or done really, there would be a fulltime staffmember occupied for all the rank reset requests...
But $ 15,000.- should do the trick.
If you keep playing the server (now that you are getting better) your rank should improve automatic...

To reset one persons rankings you would have to reset them all, and mine has just started to look reasonable! Smitty is right about the HS counter (it would have to track EVERY shot fired!!) Keep up the hard work and you'll soon start to climb the ranks

I personally think the ranks should be reset for a number of reasons every 3-4 months or so. Looking at most play time comes in at 1945 hours! yes hours from our good old willjam so im not sure how long ago it was last reset but...?
thats 648 days @ 3hours/day 324 days @ 6hours/day 194 days @ 10hours/day
isnt this a massive amount of data the server has to hold and be resetting and wiping the slate clean again it would do it good?
As complete n00bs get better from being terrible it can take them an awful long time to get up the ranks even if they kill higher players, a bad KD is really hard to correct and i feel that resetting every so often would give all players a level playing field allowing the n00bs who have gotten better to feel like theyre climbing the ranks because i think everyone at the end of the day is competetive in one sort or other. o well just my two cents

I think it was reset fairly recently as I had a brief break when my psu blew up and returned to find the rankings reset........ Also when I came back I was ranked in the 150 range and am now in the top 20 somehow......so it doesn't take too long But I do agree that a regular reset would be nice, maybe every 3 or 6 months? Also I don't think the ranking are too accurate as players who I know are much better than me are ranked lower!! I mean seriously I'm not top 20 material!!

No not difficult, it just takes too many memory cycles of what is already struggling when the servers at capacity. Main server that is. Noob heaven always seems to run perfectly.

Ive been playing on ukmd since I started playing just over a year ago. To begin with I was getting scores of 1-20 or worse. It was only the other week there I got a positive kpd ratio. Well chuffed.

Like None Other Team MX is like no other 'clan' ever conceived, we are a team, Team MX. We're probably the largest UK clan ever, we have over 170 team members with well over 130 of them actively playing. Team MX is over a year old now, celabrating its first birthday in November last year. Headed up by the worlds biggest n00b, MoggieX and backed up by some outstanding n00blets, known as the core admins.
We don't recruit twats! Quite frankly we ain't interested in matches, or 'twats' (mainly gobby teanagers, you know the ones), if this is something you're looking for, or are, you're not in the right place at all. However, IF you are a utter n00b (like I am, MoggieX) and enjoy the 'whole' online gaming expereince, where you can make friends from all over the world, then you have found yourself a new home.
A Little More About Team MX Also quite interestingly, every Team MX member gets a limited amount of admin privilages, its been the norm for people to pay for such rights, here you get them free and you can also feel at ease that there is only small group of admins, the core admins that have the access to any player abuse commands. So you can play in realtive safety, knowing that the server you're on is patrolled by an army of admins. We have members from the ages of 9 to well past retirement, probably with an average age twice that of other clans, a prime example that this is no ordinary clan.
Joining Team MX We don't let just any old person join, you have to prove yourself over a long period of time. If you're turning up here thinking you're going to join us in a few days, you're sorely mistaken. In most cases it takes over a month to be recruited and thats just the lucky ones! People (not players) rarely leave Team MX, if they do, we never really seem to get rid of them, lol.
