My view is, if you need to know this stuff, you can look it up in a book (or the Net). Why remember it  But once they've hammered it into you, it's hard to forget. It's much more important that they tell you why all this "history" was happening, not just a series of dates, which is what I hope they do nowadays. Oh! That was a bit serious. I'll get off my high horse now ... And just to keep OT and to lighten the post, here's me at 18, when I should have been doing my A-Levels, with two broken arms   Posted many months ago in a motorbike thread but always good for a laugh Peanut - "... or is your beard broken again ...?" | ||

(we used to practace in our drummers house and his neigbours would get angry if it was too loud. but the drums still sounded good through the PA system. edit- oh and anyone with a 4:3 layout needs a new monitor; widescreen is awesome. i would never go back to a normal sized monitor.... =] [ Edited Sat Nov 01 08, 02:37PM ] | ||
