I have a couple of 8800GTXs in SLI running under XP. All of my other current games are fine. However, TF2 flickers between my character dying and moving to respawn. This happens a lot No problem during actual play. I know TF2 is optimized for SLI, so I thought some incompatibility might be the cause. Not a big problem but I just wondered if it was happening to anyone else or if it was a known bug. Cheers ![]() Peanut - "... or is your beard broken again ...?"

(nVidia control paned -> manage 3d settings) ![]() .Tito\\\'s Law. - You can\\\'t fall off the floor

Thanks for the replies, all. @Tito - I have "Max. Pre Rendered Frames" set to "3" and "Triple Buffering" set to "Off". What's your recommended configuration? Even though it didn't work for Garbled it may work for me since, as far as I can tell, PC's all have minds of their own Many thanks. ![]() Peanut - "... or is your beard broken again ...?"

Interestingly, I also get an insane amount of flickering if I set shadows to High in World of Warcraft. Does seem like the common factor is SLI, though. I might disable multi-GPU and see if that makes a difference... not that it's ideal, of course. [ Edited Sat Jul 04 09, 04:56PM ]

Since the latest drivers caused it, I've got nowhere to go but backwards. From all your replies, I now know this isn't a sign that my GPUs are about to explode, so I can happily live with it D Cheers. ![]() Peanut - "... or is your beard broken again ...?"
