I just did a search on facebook for counterstrike and there were over 500 groups, plenty of potential players i'm sure.  | ||||

Its a cool map and good fun! Dont know where we could get this but if someone could had a good look around they ty  Some more -de_pasdequartier -  currently 60 spawn points-de_pipeline_beta - This looks mint with 64 spawn points-de_dustanesi -Looks quite cool! - & - de_justice2 - The website has quite a few good maps on! Prime example de_dustanesi, it has 22 spawn points, not 64 and we tried that map and it woudl be n00b hell, its far too small. Another good example, is that this map looks ace but needs doublt the spawn points, come one map makers, take 10 mins more FFS!!Matt

When the server's empty in the wee small hours, how much harm could it do to let players from abroad play and talk in 'foreign' !  There's unlikely to be too much in the way of MX admin around to do anything about it anyway ..... That said, I'm not sure I like the idea of complete multilingual acceptance on the MX servers at all times because admin would be unable to monitor what was being said, and this would leave us in a position where we would only be able to deal with things said in languages we understood, whilst potentially missing serious verbal abuse through linguistic ignorance !  I think that it would also be quite annoying to have multiple languages being spoken over the same channel .... This needs to be weighed up against how popular and inclusive we want to become though   | ||||

Far too many ppl are playin with low rates and that makes 100 tick useless if ppl arent gettin the most from it. I understand some ppl dont know how to set their rates but wen asked too or even told how too they usualy just ignore us. In my opinion nobody plays online games with anything less than 1mb connection these days so rates should be set to that minimum. And like morphii said earlier some ppl are actualy lowering their rates on purpose and that would cut that out also | ||||

| william Registered Member #288 Joined: Mon Jul 23 07, 10:28AMYour Location: Scotland Posts: 5107 | as i keep saying, this is not a sourcemod plugin. the server can be set with min/max upd rates and rate value. this has been done for the "rate 20000" value. and tbh, i am getting fed up with rates on the main server as we cant check so cant do nowt about it. the 100tic has the plugin on it but still players dont listen. and i understand why the server allows players with sheety rates to join, its the same reason we cant get spectate nomore. | ||||

| william Registered Member #288 Joined: Mon Jul 23 07, 10:28AMYour Location: Scotland Posts: 5107 | u should see McEskmans video of me loosing it the other day!! all i am saying on this is that the whole rates debate is pointless. we cant enforce it, we cant check what rates people have so why bother moaning about it anymore! i am loathed to kick someone because they appear to have crappy rates, especially when the server is quiet as no one can check them. and there are regulars that have low rates, even some MX have low rates. but you are spot on stefan, its a public server so whatever they bring we need to accept. and jim, its not just me that should be doing something about rates it shud be sm_call_upon_all_admins. especially the superduper ones | ||||
