hey guys,

i've regestered to the site but i can't seem to sign in. When i do a page comes up with the Team Mx logo saying " No news items at the moment - please check back soon" and thats it.

The only place i can then navigate to are the 3 option in the Team MX heading which are; Player staistics, Maps & Community (hence beening able to create this thread).

At first i thought the site was down but my house mates can still signin normally so then i thought it was a Firefox issue but it still happens with IE. To be able to get back to the MX homepage i have to clear my cookies but then i'm not signed in any more.

Any help Would be great.

(would include a screen shot not to sure how to yet though)

you wouldnt be able to post here if you werent signed in

someone else had this problem, but as i've not experienced it, i dont really understand it.

clearing cookies then signing in seemed to help if i remember rightly, heres the thread

Hi Jim,

i know its really wierd.
when i sign in i lose the top navigation bar and the right hand bar. On the left hand side my housemates get option to edit there profile and other things, but i get nothing.

However if i'm viewing a thread like i am know and sign in i get the option to post new thread or reply.

Should i just re-register????

nah were not, but already tried sign in on there comp and still get the same message when i sign in on the homepage.

is it worth re-registering??

Perhaps its because you're trying to log in when you're already logged in?

On my pc it seems permentantly logged in UNLESS you specifically log out.

Perhaps its getting confused by the continual logins?

Nah Darryl,

i've got firefox to clear my cookies, history ect, when i close the browser so it doesn't remember me being logged in. So if i want to get back to the homepage now because i'm signed in i'll have to close firefore and then re-open.

Same thing happened to me. I am afraid to say it, but this is a ‘feature’ of being a VICTIM.

I use IE7 and if i signed in i would get the same issue as you do. Log out, clear cookies, close IE7, re-open IE7 and go back to the site & all is fine.

It is a pain, as if you want to reply/post you have to log in & all you can see is the forums – once logged in, i used to navigate directly to the forums using www afterbuy.co.uk/forums

On the positive side, having just been made MX, all is fine for me now.

So keep active in game & on the site & just look forward to being made MX!

Are your houseamates MX already?

This has come up in a couple of threads before (use the search ) and I think it may be something to do with the user permissions on the site. If you're non-mx and signed in, you won't see the frontpage but if you are mx and signed in, you will see it.

Also, if you're not signed in you will see it.

That's my theory anyway.

Well Tulley baby is MX but Christian is a victim. So like christian said confusing.

It's annoying aswell as i was the first to create a profile but i suppose closing the browser and reopening to navigate around the site is to much hassle, and i can still chat in the forums just can't edit my profile and a few other things.

Well exactly the same thing is happening to me!! Regardless if I use firefox or IE, my personal pc or my work one. As soon as I log in lose the menu bars.

Whatever u guys did for Loken can you sort me out as well??

Oh and another thing - should I be able to post pics now that I am MX?? ?!

To simply put an image in ur post simply Change IMG to img. Then your good to go.

yes it is, we sorted the glitch with loken by making him clan on the website, even though at the time he wasn't clan.

I'm off for a ciggy and to make a new coffee, then i'll start on adding the new peeps to clan, provided i can figure out their website names.
