A mod for hl2, though you dont need hl2, just the sdk installed.

been playing it since lat last night, and i'm loving it

its freespace + tfc and im still loving it. even through the lag! (only 4 european servers atm, so theres allsorts of pings turning up)

heres a gamplay vid, mostly showing off the space combat, although at 5:30 it switches to the ground combat.

and no, i have no idea why game vids only contain metal or rap music.

I was ok on the normal shooting bit, just couldnt get the hang of any space dog fighting, its similar to freelancer, but i was good at that, yet suck at this.

You need to press F when you've got an enemy in the crosshair then keep him in your reticle until you get a lockon then fire away.

I'm pants at it but I enjoy all the ground stuff

downloaded and installed last night, quick fly around and 1st impressions were positive. although i didnt kill anything or even get close enough to see what i should kill i think this could be a decent game.

have a good look at the controls off the main screen menu, theres seperate bindings for space flight and infantry combat.

I highly reccomend binding an easy to reach key for "target nearest enemy"

I found that setting the flight sensitivity higher helps as well.

I don't think the normal mouse sensitivity affects it as much.

i liked the remote sentry type gun thing. place the gun then remote control it. nearly like a sentry in tf2.

Also bind Q and R to tilt in the controls bit

Well size its about 500mb but when I start download after few minute download completes. When i try to start it, it say that file is damaged and after i check size it only downloaded 100mb... dunno whats the problem

Downloaded this week and had a couple of hours on it.

Didn't really bother trying to dog fight in space, just jumped in a bomber and took it to the corvetts.

Ground stuff was ok but couldn't get hang of shooting at distance.

Good Game - nice break from CS:S
