I am in either Bristol or Windsor, doesent really matter much to me, so if people need a lift from Bristol I can be there, or if anyone needs a lift from Windsor or the Berkshire area I can be there. Not fussed really hehe

I would defo be interested, but I would defo make it Dec/Jan time so it gives us all time to get everything organised. In the few LAN's ive been to, there have been rooms dedicated for sleeping in. I dont know if there's anything in the building your looking at. But I would defo make it along.
Has anyone else read the forums on there site? Seems to be very poor service, such at 3 differnt versions of the games on the PC's, Broken equipment , advertised things unavailable. ALso you can bring your own mice and such as long as they connect into the keyboard??!!?? How many mice connect to the fecking keyboard? Otherwise its a 5 quid fee to get access to the PC.
Does anyone from that way have any experience of the place?

1)God it's far away, even further than me dads 2)Money, as you all know 15 yeah blah blah parents probs wont pay 3)Transport for me will suck, i'd rarther not take the train if im gonna be bringing my rig and box o' games

Presumably the reason this is being held in Birmingham is because it's in the middle of the UK (well England anyway). UK members of this community come from all over the UK and not just London so holding the event in the middle seems the fairest way to do things.

Is there any mileage in having 2 locations - 1 North (well, Brumsville is plenty far north to me !) and 1 South that could play each other ? Then we just need to balance the numbers as best we can. We could even let other people join in online if needs be. Or does this defeat the whole object ?
Lugging kit about and having youngsters to worry about will be a monster headache.

Another comment/thought i had was: (cheeky one i know, but). . . You could do a kind of "Induction" to some Victims while there, as that'd add to the whole "I'm joining UKMD euphoria" And, as it would seem to be a great way of advertising UKMD as a gaming community, i say we invite anyone we know who plays games and isn't already UKMD, and get them all involved, and "Victimised" so to speak. . . Loving that T-shirt idea that was mentioned up above. . . Maybe if we all gave Moggie or one of the core admins some extra money, we could get a good ol' goody bag (T-shirt, party popers ) etc. . . ? Sorry, i know i'm kinda getting into this a bit deep, but if you need any extra help with anything Moggie, i'd be more than willing to put some time in to help
