I've heard warhammer online (

) was coming out a few years ago, its release date is 18 sep i think, im planning to have a go at it with a few friends.
any thoughts?

think they actually are making a war 40k online game but thats still in devolpement by thq and the third person space marine game? you on about dawn of war 2 ? anyway on subject the game is nice in all but still paying to play the game every month like it was a gym membership is kinda ghey

dawn of war 2 is guna be fantastic! i have DoW and all expansions!

fantastic game! was a refreshment on the strategy front for me! C&C was losing it a bit! altho supreme commander was good :d

it is a bit gay but i like to think of it as buying a game every month, so if you spend say 15 hours per week on it, thats 60 per month for around Â£10, its good value for money.

i remember when the first CoD came out, it was kinda short and it was over in about 10 hours or so

Nope I mean Warhammer 40k: Space Marine.

Pretty sure I didn't mention DoW2, which isn' a third person shooter, its just a slight variation to the current DoW's.

oh btw i always end up having a money crysis on those type of games xD one minute i have like 1 mil in cash off the in game currency then i spend it on something crap or accidently buy something i cant use ... but i will give it a crack when i decide what race to pick and what job

i've managed to steer clear of mmorrpgomgwtf games so far, but, if theres one that would draw me in, it would be warhammer 40k.

may give this one a trial, just to see what these are all about. how do you start? do you have to pick a server to play on? how do i find out who plays on what?

you get a list of servers not ones like css but like ones named asgard 1 and crap from the makers of the game and you get friends list which willo most likely tell you whos on and which server or land or what ever

Aswell as play CSS, I also play WOW.
Call it what u want but i enjoy MMORPGS.
I stopped playin wow about a 2 months ago to giv the new War ago. but it just isnt my style of MMORPGS. Im a Big PVP fan, but warhammer is a bit of a joke, and is far to easy compared to WOW imho.

o well every man to his own.

Hey Six I used to play WOW for a couple of years and then I played LOTRO for about 1yr and a half I recommend it if you like WOW. I also played Age Of Conan that has a lot of gore and a good combat system im on a break from them at the moment thou

Whoa, somehow missed this thread. lol.

I got WAR, it was quite cool, lots of PvP

Haven't played it for a couple months tho.

I love the random speech you get. Especially from the Chuffin' Dwarfs!

And the missions are usually quite interesting story-wise.
And I'm into Warhammer. Mostly 40K, but since I work for em, I own a few armies for each system

I used to play DAoC a lot! But got a bit fed up of ToA cuz I couldn't play on saturdays when everyone went raiding. Too many different spaced out quests with no regular spawnings.

Admin abuse? You mean when I abuse the other admins?

meh...

war was ok, its pvp system is impressive but at the same time a bit disappointing, and the players dnt have the mechanics of wow.

yes i am a wow player, but wow is more developed, mayb in a year or so war will be appealing to me.

and iv made my judgements on playing the game on the free month lol.
