mmmm... eden's local team... So is Maldon town not more local? or Colchester? or maybe even Wivenhoe... but I suppose Leicester is just up the road...
being a chelsea fan, my heart was initially a bit hyper active but settled down when I realised Southend were actually not very good....
Chelsea are of course world beaters and have been showing that in every game recently...

Although admittedly they have had some decent homegrown ones... I believe Bobby Charlton was quite handy , plus Scholes, Beckham, G.Neville, etc.

I hope they don't win the league again this season, but it's looking like all the other 'challengers' are falling away again.

I remember several years ago when Newcastle played Stevenage Boro in Stevenage, and the whole of Newcastle (or so it seemed) decended on that town, but almost EVERYBODY, including the Nwecastle supporters said that Stevenage should have won it, but for dodgy ref calls!

Get dodgy ref calls in ALL games, according to who winds or loses!

tbh it just shows im not jumping on the bandwagon. 24% of liverpool fans are glory hunters says it all. and most of them foreign at that. ive been a blue all my life and i play footy, i think you will find i love footy.

we are a team that has gone from near relegation every season to europe every season since mr moyes came to be manager, that is an acheivement in its self. we have barely any money yet can still draw with man u and chelse.
